Quill Barbed Suture is a time-saving closure device that eliminates the need to tie knots to secure the closure. The helical barbed design evenly distributes tension offering a unique combination of security and speed – increasing both efficiency and value.
Quill Barbed Suture has a versatile and extensive line offered in bi-directional and uni-directional configurations. Bi-Directional Barbs are arranged in opposing directions on either side of a transitional unbared segment. Uni-Directional Barbs are arranged in a spiral along the suture and the adjustable loop design allows for easy needle placement.
Quill® needles are forged from an alloy of Iron, Nickel, and Chromium. Each element serves a role in delivering strength, ductility, and hardness.

Monoderm™ is a synthetic absorbable monofilament. It has excellent pliability and handling characteristics and popular for subcuticular closure and soft tissue approximation.
PDO is a synthetic absorbable monofilament indicated for use in general soft tissue approximation and/or ligation but not for use in cardiovascular or neurological tissues, microsurgery or ophthalmic surgery.
Polypropylene is a synthetic non-absorbable monofilament suture. Tensile strength is superior to other true monofilaments. In addition, a unique extruding technique ensures a uniformly round cross section and a strand that passes easily through tissue.
